HSS M2 Premium Chucking Reamer Sets, Straight Flute, Straight Shank, Right Hand Cut, ANSI, in Aluminum Case
Chucking reamers are also known as machine reamers. They are the most common type of reamers used in lathes, drill presses and screw machines that provide a smooth finish to the hole. Regarding the counts of flutes, the more flutes a chucking reamer is with, the better performance it has. Accusize chucking reamers come with straight flutes and straight shanks.
- Made from premium M2 H.S.S.
- Straight shank, ANSI standard
- Straight flute, right-hand cut
- Chucking reamers are designed for accurate reaming in most materials using all types of equipment including screw machines, turret lathes, drill presses, and machining centers
- They are regularly pointed with a 45°chamfer
- The straight-flute design is recommended for most general-purpose reaming
